Key Birthday Party Details during Covid-19 (MUST READ)
KSL tries to maintain a peanut and tree-nut free facility for the safety of all of our students, so it is essential that all food is peanut and tree-nut free. We recommend that guests arrive no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of your party. Keep in mind that there may be an event 30 minutes prior and 30 minutes after your event. An extended time fee of $250 will be added to parties that exceed their assigned time by over 15 minutes.
For all Kids Science Labs parties, please note that deposits are non-refundable.
A Mysteries of Science Party (MOS) includes 10 children. A Big Birthday Blowout (BBB) includes 20 children. BBB includes addiitional guests, disposable lab coats for every child, and goggles. Additional Guests above the included capacity of your party, may be added for $20/child. During Covid-19, there is also maximum capacity of child guests of 30 to ensure we can keep all guests safe and ensure a five-star experience.
We will check in with you the week before your party to confirm the number of kids and any additional party related details. If you have any questions in the meantime, please call us at 773-798-2012 or text us at (773) 645-0578 M-F 8-5:30pm (central standard time). While we do have a phone service on the weekends, it is best to confirm any changes to your party at least by the Friday prior to your planned event. We hope this information is helpful in ensuring you have a wonderful hands-on science experience. We look forward to hosting soon.
We continue to recommend to all party hosts and their guests, that to keep communities most safe during large gatherings, especially for those that may be most vulnerable to the Covid-19 pandemic such as grandparents and those who may be immunocompromised, that we should practice CDC recommended Covid-19 protections during the party, whenever possible and appropriate. Please note that as of Feb 28, 2022, the most recent updated CDC guidance still recommends that guests, who may be unvaccinated, should continue to wear masks when indoors. At KSL, we will continue to offer hand sanitizer to all guests and our staff will practice our KSL Core 4 (mask wearing, social distancing, frequent hand washing, employee self-screening) as the CDC updates its guidance. Thank you for understanding. |
